Where Faith, Science, and Creativity Converge

Life is full of contrasts. We may see faith and science as separate entities. We may see art and science this way as well. Yet, if they are integrated, then unifying themes of calling, vocation, vision, and mission can be brought together.

As I have often said…

“I go where I am called.”

This philosophy leads to different paths life takes.

Thus, on this site, all converge on the mission of unifying themes of faith, science, and our search for knowledge, creativity through arts and writing, global connections that emphasize our humanity, and our human role as stewards to promote sustainability.

Please explore the links supporting Science International-Collaborative Research Fund, which is a non-profit organization involved in this vision, utilizing artistic, educational, and scientific research endeavors to promote greater global understanding.

Please explore my News & Events for current thoughts, projects, and activities.

Peruse the different links for projects in art, writing, education, and research, and feel free to donate to support them.

“I wonder…
What the world would look like if just for one minute every single person utilized their greatest talents to make the world a better place…what kind of world would be…”

Stories from the Community

Connection

I cannot thank you enough for connecting me and helping me set it all up. It has allowed me to follow my dreams of traveling/working abroad and I am sure will make me a more effective physician someday.

Support

I greatly appreciate your support throughout this process! You make me want to be around a lot of people and to try my best to help them with their journeys the same way you helped me. I'm very thankful for your support!

Validation

Thank you so much for taking our mental health into consideration, having weekly check-ins, acknowledging the socioeconomic and racial disparities, and not being a white savior (and an ally instead). Thank you for being the first professor to make me feel seen and heard as a person of color.

Endorsement

If this is the first chapter of your book, I want to read the rest of it. Remarkable remarkable. You take the reader on a journey as I followed Sei on her journey, remembering her youth and now her old age. The visuals, the history, the trees and gardens and her love of her husband and family are Paramount to the story. Your writing showcases all.
